This course teaches students a way to learn 5 times quicker, how to decrease worry and stress, and a structure that enables them to “know everything without knowing anything”. It helps students to develop a mind of an experienced leader at an early age. The course will teach simple natural laws that creates a structure that students can view life through that will enable them to simplify complexity and understand the why with minimal amounts of information. The course material comes from history’s visionaries, including Socrates, Einstein, and Deming.

Class Structure:

This is an interactive, discussion-based class. Students will learn by engaging in debates and completing individual presentations. Each student will be exposed to the same curriculum in each session. Each session will include 4 days of interactive instruction followed by a closing ceremony on the 5th day held on an ASU campus. Below is our standard summer schedule (subject to change):

Day 1: Natural Laws and Personal Success

Students will learn about, Information Measurement Theory (IMT), which is a leadership model used to help our students increase their understanding of life, people, and complex ideas. IMT is founded upon logical leadership principles developed through 26 years of industry research. It describes these ideas with 4 major diagrams (Natural Laws, Events, Cycle of Learning, and KSMs). IMT can be understood through easy-to-use diagrams. The combination of these diagrams creates a new perspective to view and understand the world. These diagrams create a framework for learning that students can apply to any area of life in order to eliminate fear, worry, and stress.

During this day, students will learn how to work effectively by learning to work with their mental limitations instead of against them. They will learn how to utilize help from others. They will learn how to develop characteristics and habits that create consistency and productivity in their lives, thus, rely less on their on misconceptions and biases.

Our environment can be defined as everything around us: our friends, family, leaders, school, events, co-workers, etc. In this class, students will learn a binary model of human perception: we are subject to our environment or we are responsible for our environment. Students will learn that all individuals are responsible for their own perceptions and ideas by reviewing historical events.

  • Understand people and yourself.
  • Utilize strengths and weaknesses.

Day 4: Applied Leadership

Students will learn a model of leadership based on understanding people instead of managing people. This new leadership model is centered around the idea that leaders cannot change people. An effective leader does not attempt to change or influence individuals, but instead, he or she creates a structure that aligns individuals to create something of value. Students will learn how to identify great leaders and how to utilize their expertise to help them grow.
